At Tree Plant Rescue (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we stand behind the quality of our tree and plant rescue, treatment, and planting services with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. As a service-based business dedicated to restoring and preserving urban and natural greenery, we guarantee most of our work to ensure your trees and plants thrive. This Service Guarantee Policy outlines the scope of our guarantees, exceptions, and how we handle any issues that arise.

By engaging our services through treeplantrescue.com (the “Site”), phone, email, or in-person consultation, you agree to the terms of this policy. Our guarantees reflect our expertise in arboriculture and environmental restoration, but they are subject to the conditions described below.

1. Our Standard Guarantee

For all services where we perform an on-site examination and deem the tree or plant rescuable:

•  Coverage: We guarantee the health and viability of the treated tree or plant for a period of 12 months from the completion of the final treatment in our standard protocol (three treatments, typically spaced 2-3 weeks apart).

•  What We Guarantee: The tree or plant will show sustained recovery, including new growth, improved vitality, and resistance to the original issue (e.g., pests, disease, or environmental stress). If it does not, we will provide additional treatments at no extra cost, even if it requires more than our standard three-treatment protocol.

•  Proof of Rescue: Success is measured by visible signs of recovery, as assessed by our tree experts during follow-up visits (included in the guarantee).

This guarantee applies to the majority of our services, ensuring peace of mind that your investment in green restoration is protected.

2. Exceptions to the Guarantee

We proudly guarantee most work, but certain situations require full transparency upfront. We will verbally notify you before agreeing to any service if we cannot extend our standard guarantee. Common reasons include:

•  Severe Pre-Existing Damage: If the tree or plant is already too far damaged (e.g., over 70% canopy loss, root rot beyond recovery, or irreversible structural failure), we will explain this during our initial assessment and obtain your verbal acknowledgment before proceeding.

•  External Factors: Unforeseeable events beyond our control, such as extreme weather events, construction damage, or improper post-treatment care by the customer (e.g., overwatering or chemical exposure).

•  Non-Rescuable Cases: If our examination reveals the specimen is not viable for rescue, we will advise against service and suggest alternatives like removal and replanting (which carries its own separate guarantee for new installations).

In these cases:

•  No guarantee applies, but we will document the discussion in your service agreement and provide a written summary via email.

•  Pricing may be adjusted to reflect the higher-risk nature of the work.

•  We encourage a second opinion from an independent arborist if desired.

If we later determine during treatment that a guarantee cannot be upheld (e.g., discovery of hidden damage), we will pause work, notify you immediately, and seek your approval to proceed without guarantee.

3. How the Guarantee Works

Standard Protocol

•  Initial Assessment: Free on-site evaluation to determine rescuability.

•  Treatment Plan: Up to three applications of organic, eco-friendly treatments (e.g., pest control, nutrient infusions).

•  Follow-Up: One complimentary check-in 3 months post-treatment to monitor progress.

•  Extended Support: If issues persist within the 12-month window, contact us for re-treatment—we cover labor and materials.

Claiming Your Guarantee

1.  Notify us within 30 days of noticing any issues by emailing info@treeplantrescue.com or calling (619) 630-7180.

2.  Provide details: Service date, location, photos/videos of the tree/plant, and a description of the problem.

3.  We will schedule a site visit within 7 business days (free of charge).

4.  If covered, we will remedy the issue promptly—typically within 14 days.

4. Limitations and Exclusions

•  Customer Responsibilities: You must follow our post-treatment care instructions (provided in writing). Failure to do so voids the guarantee.

•  Warranties on Materials: Any third-party products used (e.g., soil amendments) carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which we will assist in pursuing.

•  Replacements: In rare cases of total failure under guarantee, we offer a credit toward a new planting (up to 50% of original service cost), not a full cash refund.

•  No Consequential Damages: Our guarantee covers direct service-related issues only; we are not liable for indirect losses (e.g., property damage from falling branches).

This policy does not apply to consultations, educational workshops, or merchandise purchases—see our Refund Policy for those.

5. Refunds and Remedies

If a guaranteed service fails despite our best efforts and re-treatments, you may request a partial refund (up to 100% of the treatment cost, excluding assessment fees). Refunds are processed within 90 days via your original payment method. For non-guaranteed work, remedies are limited to good-faith adjustments at our discretion.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Service Guarantee Policy to align with industry standards or legal updates. Changes will be posted on the Site with the new effective date, and we will notify affected customers via email.
